About Hospital Santa Marta

Hospital Santa Marta (HSM) was inaugurated on July 1, 1986, with 18 maternal-child beds, located in 1,350 m². In 2008, already a general hospital with 100 beds, it decided to grow further. It then began its physical expansion and conceived its first strategic plan, focused on quality management and patient safety, and guided by corporate governance which initially brought professionalization to management. In 2012, the dream became a reality: the new face of HSM, presented to Brasília, had 20,000 m² of built area, 170 active beds, 55 of which were intensive care (general, coronary, and neonatal), a new clinical center, and a highly differentiated emergency room. In 2013, the institution achieved full accreditation, Level II, by the National Accreditation Organization (ONA); in 2016, the Hospital achieved accreditation with excellence, Level III, also by ONA: the result of the partners' entrepreneurial vision and a team of champions who make excellence their ideal and permanent pursuit.
