About Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden

We live together in a country that is partly below sea level. Without the work of the water boards, that would not be possible. Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden works every day on safe dikes and sufficient and clean water in canals, rivers, and ditches in the center of the Netherlands. Climate change and the specific weather conditions associated with it demand solutions that are innovative, long-lasting, and good for nature. We work on this together with residents, farmers, entrepreneurs, and other governments. With the aim of being able to live safely in our country now and in the future.
