Hon-Kwang Electric Co., Ltd. was founded in 1981 and is a maker of power supplies, specializing in the design and manufacture for both domestic and foreign markets. Hon-Kwang has developed various power supplies using the best available technology. Our main products include AC/AC adaptors, AC/DC adaptors, power transformers, switching power supplies, chargers, and line matching transformers. The company's goal is to provide high-quality products, the best service, technical support, and competitive prices with quality assurance. In the meantime, we have obtained many safety approvals for our products, such as UL, CUL, TUV/GS/CE/CB, PSE MARK, CCC, TUV/BS, RCM Mark, PSB, KC Mark, and BSMI. Other international safety marks are also available, including TÜV/BR, NOM, EAC, BIS, and SASO. Our products also comply with RoHS requirements and the Energy Star/CEC/DOE/Erp/Nr-Can & MEPS standards. Hon-Kwang is a factory-direct company headquartered in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the largest industrial city in Taiwan. Our manufacturing locations are in both Taiwan and China. With continuously increasing business demands, we built our second factory in Shenzhen, China, in 1995. There are over 2,500 employees. We built our third factory in Shanghai, China, in 1999. To add production capacity to satisfy customer demand, we set up another new factory in Songgang, Shenzhen, in 2018. The monthly production capacity for the factory is around 5,000,000 pieces. In the rapidly changing world economy, we always believe "fast delivery with quality products" is the best way to serve our customers. With years of experience in designing and manufacturing power supplies, we have built an excellent reputation for our company and our products. We supply power supplies to many famous companies worldwide, directly or indirectly, including familiar names like IBM, Compaq, Dell, Philips, Panasonic, Sony, Quest, America West Communication, Zoom, Radio Shack, GE, Samsung, Yamaha, Kawai, NEC, NMB, Hitachi, and Olivetti. To become an international enterprise and reduce the total cost of our power supplies, we established a joint venture for a power cord and metal parts factory in China to provide materials ourselves. We also sell these products to other customers around the world. By doing this, we can control costs and maintain quality for our customers. History and events: 2019 Hon-Kwang Electric (Philippines), Inc. was founded in the Philippines. 2018 Moved to Songgang Factory in Shenzhen for administration and manufacturing. 2015 Awarded Shenzhen customs coordinator company status. 2013 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) qualified as a National Hi-Tech Enterprise. 2012 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) founded its SMT department. 2010 Hon-Kwang Electric (Taojiang) was established. 2008 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) registered trademarks/LED. 2005 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) obtained ISO14001 certification. 2001 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) obtained ISO9001 certification. 2000 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) started SPS. 1999 Hon-Kwang Electric (Kunshan) was founded and obtained ISO9002 & ISO14000 certifications. 1993 Hon-Kwang Electric (Shenzhen) began producing transformers and adaptors. 1981 Hon-Kwang Electric Co., Ltd. was founded in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
