The Master Medical Imaging / Radiation Oncology (MIRO) offers modules in medical imaging and radiation therapy, primarily intended for HBO-educated professionals working in medical imaging and/or radiation therapy. A large number of specialized modules are offered for expert-level professional practice, such as ultrasonography, gynecology obstetrics, (PET) CT, MRI, IMRT, and IGRT. Additionally, there are two mandatory modules focusing on research methodologies, epidemiology, and law/ethics/philosophy. The master's program was accredited by the NVAO and the Accreditation Foundation for Professional Development Activities for Paramedics (ADAP) in 2012.
