About High Tech High

High Tech High (HTH) is a charter school organization in San Diego County operating thirteen K-12 public charter schools. HTH opened in September 2000 as a small project based public charter school with plans to serve approximately 450 students. Since then, HTH has evolved into an integrated network of thirteen charter schools serving approximately 5,300 students across three campuses located in Point Loma, Chula Vista, and North County. The work at HTH is guided by four connected design principles—equity, personalization, authentic work, and collaborative design—that set aspirational goals and create a foundation for understanding our approach. We are committed to building a school culture where there is respect and cooperation among every student, adult, and family.
