Hertel’s Coins has been active in the coin industry for 27 years, with a local presence in Lake in the Hills, Illinois for the past 9 years. While we operate a local retail location, Hertel’s Coins is not a traditional coin shop. A significant part of our business is focused on national live auctions, where we catalog, present, sell, and ship coins and collectibles to customers across the country. Our operation combines numismatics with e-commerce, live selling, catalog production, logistics, customer service, purchasing, and day-to-day business operations. Because of that, our employees often have the opportunity to learn more than one area of the business and see how their work contributes to the larger operation. We are a small, growing company with a warm, friendly culture. We work closely as a team, value people who take pride in their work, and appreciate employees who are dependable, adaptable, willing to learn, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.
