About Hergarten GmbH

Unternehmensgruppe Hergarten - The Steel Forwarding Company We are specialists in the transport, storage, and logistics of bulk steel. Every day, we transport steel of all sizes and lengths throughout Germany and neighboring countries. With around 350 employees, approximately 180 trucks, and extensive IT expertise, we are one of the market leaders in this segment. Despite our size and rapid growth, as a family-run company in its 5th generation, we feel a commitment not only to our customers but also to social responsibility: As our employee, you can look forward to a trust-based corporate culture, crisis-proof personnel management, and fair, respectful treatment. Our managing directors embody this every day: they also visit the warehouse and greet their employees by name. Tradition and commitment are important to us outside the company as well: Founded in the Rhineland in 1902, we support, among others, SOS Children's Villages, Zartbitter e.V., S.C. Fortuna Köln, and KG Kölsche Grielächer von 1927 e.V.
