Our mission is to empower others to empower themselves. At Hengoed Park we are more than just a residential home- we are a supportive community where every resident, team member and visitor is treated with respect and kindness. From support staff to the kitchen team, housekeepers to hand- holders, everyone pitches in to make life here warm, welcoming and from the heart. A skilled workforce is essential in delivering exceptional care. We ensure our team is confident, skilled, and always learning, because delivering person centred care takes knowledge, compassion and occasional dance moves in the corridors! So what exactly do we do? We are dedicated in providing a supportive environment for adults who may be living with Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Dementia and Organic Mental Health and other co-exisiting conditions. We are committed in working collaboratively with individuals to develop personalised care and support plans that empower them to lead fulfilling and enriched lives. Enablement is at the heart of everything we do and our H.O.P.E inspired framework services as the foundation for this approach. We believe that every individual should have the encouragement and opportunity to be their authentic self. We provide the tools, the confidence and the ability to achieve the best life for the people we support. Hengoed Park offers 36 bedrooms in the main house, along with an additional 8 lodges located within an enclosed walled garden. The home is nestled within 11 acres of picturesque grounds and a short distance from the market town of Oswestry.
