In 2009, Home Efficiency Group (HEG) was created and has matured into the leading residential energy efficiency company in Tasmania. Our core market is the residential retrofit market, upgrading existing homes to better equip them to cope with higher electricity prices, to control window condensation and to improve comfort levels. With bases in Invermay and Moonah, and a workforce of 19 staff, we provide professional services statewide. HEG now provides sales and installation of ceiling/underfloor insulation, heat pumps, solar energy systems, energy storage solutions, ventilation solutions, Ducted Air Circulation Systems, Solar Air Heaters, maintenance services, heat pump hot water cylinders, and associated electrical services. In 2016, a new division, HEG Energy, was created to focus on the commercial sector, with solar energy solutions under 100kW, highbay & lowbay lighting upgrades, and HVAC as primary areas. Also in 2016, Environmental Electrical Australia was established to provide support resources to HEG, focus on the commercial sector via HEG Energy, and gain electrical work under its own banner.
