About Healthcare By Douglas

Healthcare by Douglas is a New Zealand-based consumer healthcare company that evolved from Douglas Pharmaceuticals, one of the country’s largest and most respected pharmaceutical businesses. Founded in 1967 by Sir Graham Douglas and still proudly family owned, Douglas Pharmaceuticals has grown into a global manufacturer with a reputation for scientific excellence, innovation, and trust. It was within this environment that Healthcare by Douglas was born, and while we carry forward the same commitment to science, quality and credibility, we now have the freedom as an independent company to innovate faster, think differently, and forge our own path.
