About the Hospital: Nestled between the Great Smoky Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Pisgah National Forest, and just 25 miles from Asheville, Haywood Regional Medical Center is comprised of a 159-bed acute-care hospital; a 54,000-square foot health & fitness center; a three-story 48,000-square foot outpatient care center (includes 2 OR's, 1 endoscopy suite, an imaging center, a rehab center, and physician practices); two urgent care centers; The Homestead, a six-bed inpatient hospice facility; and eleven multi-specialty physician clinics providing a full spectrum of services including primary care.
