About Habila GmbH

Habila GmbH offers individual support planning and assistance for participation and self-determination for around 1,600 people with disabilities in 22 cities and municipalities in Baden-Württemberg. We accompany people with disabilities on their path to greater independence and care for those who need special protection and intensive support. Habila offers diverse living and support services: in the middle of cities and municipalities, in specialized facilities as well as in special living arrangements and other individually accompanied living settings, depending on preference, individual needs, and care requirements. In the spirit of community orientation and inclusion, we have been reducing the size of our central facilities for years and opening them up to the community. At the same time, we are continuously developing smaller and regional living and working services. Approximately 750 people with disabilities come to their workplace at Habila every weekday. Our workshops are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 for the areas of support, services, and production. Habila employs 1,500 employees whose work focuses on the individual needs of people with disabilities. Giving them the opportunity for societal participation and independence is our motivation. We do not see people with disabilities as recipients of benefits, but as active shapers of their own future. A core competence of our work is the care of people with multiple disabilities and special care needs.
