The Association of Hôpitaux Privés de Metz was formed in January 2008 by the merger of Hôpitaux Belle-Isle, Saint André, and Sainte Blandine, which are non-profit institutions with Catholic and Protestant congregational origins. These institutions have been an integral part of Metz's healthcare heritage since 1864 for Hôpital Belle-Isle, 1865 for Hôpital Sainte-Blandine, and 1956 for Hôpital Saint-André. Hôpital Saint-André closed its doors with the opening of the new Hôpital Robert Schuman, located in Vantoux in the Metz agglomeration, in March 2013. Its modern architecture was designed for and around the patient to offer quality care in a calming environment. All of our Establishments participate in public service missions within the framework of the HÔPITAL PATIENT SANTE TERRITOIRE law throughout the region. The Hôpitaux Privés de Metz, with 1034 beds, places, and positions, cover the main medical and surgical disciplines and various forms of hospitalization: full hospitalization, day hospitalization, home hospitalization, continuing care, long-term care. The Sainte Marie and Sainte Claire residences are Accommodation Establishments for Dependent Elderly People.
