About Gruppo BCC Iccrea

The Gruppo BCC Iccrea is the largest cooperative banking group, the only national banking group with entirely Italian capital. The Group was formed on March 4, 2019, as part of the reform of Italian Cooperative Credit (Law no. 49 of 2016 and subsequent amendments), which mandated all BCCs to join a Cooperative Banking Group. A completely new entity in the Italian and European banking landscape, the Group carries on the legacy of sixty years of history, dating back to 1963 when representatives from 190 Rural Banks met to establish the Credit Institute of Rural and Artisan Banks. Today, the Gruppo BCC Iccrea consists of 111 Cooperative Credit Banks, present in over 1,700 Italian municipalities with nearly 2,500 branches, and other banking, financial, and instrumental companies controlled by BCC Banca Iccrea. As of March 31, 2026, the Group's BCCs had achieved net loans of 98.3 billion euros across Italy (+5.3% y/y) and direct customer funding of approximately 141.7 billion euros (+2.8% y/y), serving over 5.2 million customers and around 900,000 members. Gruppo BCC Iccrea is among the best banking groups for asset quality, with a CET 1 Ratio of 26.4% (26.0% at the end of 2025).
