About Grupo Yamaha Brasil

When Yamaha emerged in Japan in 1955, there were already over 100 motorcycle manufacturers in the country. This motivated our founder, Genichi Kawakami, to want to build the best motorcycles, with the precepts of quality and innovation. That's how we immediately won leading positions in important motorcycle racing competitions and improved our products. Yamaha arrived in Brazil in 1970 as the country's first motorcycle manufacturer. Its factory is located in Manaus and its administrative offices are in São Paulo and Jandira, with a total of about 5,000 employees, who pursue continuous improvement of our motorcycles, outboard motors, and waverunners. More than technology and machines, what sets Yamaha apart are the people and their passion for what they do, all with a single objective: to generate Kando through the experience with the brand. The services provided by Banco Yamaha, Consórcio Yamaha, and Yamaha Seguros facilitate customer access to our products. As a result of Yamaha's extensive product logistics experience, Yamalog was founded in 2017, a logistics company tailored to the needs of customers in various segments. We are present in important local competitions that contribute to the stimulation of motorcycling in the country and to generating kando in the hearts of those who race and those who watch: Motocross, Rally, Enduro, Yamalube R3 Cup. In boating, we have already won numerous national titles. In Brazil, the group is comprised of the following companies: Yamaha Motor do Brasil Ltda, Yamaha Motor da Amazônia Ltda, Yamaha Motor Componentes da Amazônia Ltda, Yamaha Motor do Brasil Serviços e Participações Ltda Yamaha Motor do Brasil Logística Ltda. and its branches The group also includes the subsidiaries Yamaha Motor Selva del Peru S/A, Yamaha Motor Uruguai S/A, and Yamaha Motor Argentina S/A.
