Miguel Vergara is a business group formed by the vertical integration of several agri-food companies specializing in each phase of the beef production process, from the production, selection, and raising of calves to portioning, cooking, and marketing. The MIGUEL VERGARA Group comprises over 250 people (direct and indirect employment). Specialized and excellently qualified professionals. Thanks to their good work, the Group achieved a turnover of 41 million euros in 2017 (40% of production is destined for foreign markets). This figure consolidates the progression in turnover evolution of recent years of around 5% and 9% annually. The Group's growth prospects for the 2019 financial year are over 10%. Grupo MIGUEL VERGARA combines the tradition inherited from a family business with the highest standards of quality and excellence. Currently, the Castilian and Leonese firm is a benchmark in the meat sector, with one of the largest and best calf production facilities in Europe. The company has its own production of 30,000 animals per year developed over approximately 80,000 square meters of covered facilities and a capacity for 14,000 fattening calves. Grupo Miguel Vergara has several homogeneous lines of calves raised to measure for each client with the aim of satisfying their needs and ensuring the competitiveness and quality of the products and services we offer them. It is also the national leader in ANGUS production.
