In 1988, in Ceará, Francisco de Assis Frota Machado founded PLUSFARMA, a distributor of pharmaceutical products. At that time, the company was already the exclusive distributor of the EMS line in the State of Ceará and gained national prominence for the excellence of its work. With his entrepreneurial vision, Machado expanded his businesses throughout the Northeast, through the companies PLUSFARMA and EMMARKA, further strengthening his commitment to the pharmaceutical market. In 2017, Grupo EMMA emerged. With the proposal to standardize all its internal and external processes, and guarantee an increasingly innovative management model with the use of advanced technology to administer the distributors with aligned processes and increasingly qualified people to perform their activities.
