About Grupo Drumattos

Grupo Drumattos is a holding company responsible for the franchise networks Camarão & Cia, the restaurants Camarada Camarão, the American network Pizza Studio in Brazil, and the launch of Recife’s Seafood and Grill and Express. Drumattos was founded in 2014 with the goal of converging all company businesses, uniting the management of the food-focused front and the restaurant retail front, different activities that need close monitoring. The Group adopts three types of models for opening new stores: franchise, partner, and own. Currently, there are 60 Camarão & Cia stores in 12 Brazilian states. Of these, 18 are owned, five are partners, and the rest are franchises. The franchise model is not used at Camarada Camarão. There are currently 5 restaurants: the first in Boa Viagem (PE), the second at Shopping Recife (PE), the third at Rio Design Barra (RJ), the fourth at New York City Center (RJ), and the fifth at RioMar Recife (PE). In 2018, the Group also plans to open the sixth unit in Aracaju (SE). The arrival of the American network Pizza Studio in Brazil is the result of intensive field research conducted between 2016 and 2017 in the United States and Brazil, where a new way for consumers to relate to food was detected: the fast-casual model, a global trend. The first store in the country will be inaugurated in the first half of 2018 in Recife, at the Guararapes International Airport, in a partner store model, initiating the master franchisor process for the brand. Also at Recife Airport, in 2018, Grupo Drumattos will inaugurate Recife’s Seafood and Grill, with an annex in an Express version, kicking off the brand that carries the quality and premium service of Camarada Camarão in an à la carte, weight-based buffet, bar, and "take away" format.
