Grupo Comercial Chedraui is a company with three business segments: Self-service in Mexico, Self-service in the United States, and a Real Estate Division. Its operations began as a supermarket in 1970 in the state of Veracruz. Most of its stores are located in Mexico, in addition to some in the southern United States under the name El Super. In the final years of the 20th century, the group redefined its path: self-service stores and real estate complexes. As of December 31, 2019, we have 306 branches in Mexico, of which 198 are Tienda Chedraui, 60 Super Chedraui, 15 Super Che, and 33 Supercitos; within these, there are 19 Tienda Chedraui and 4 Super Chedraui stores in a select format.
