About Grupo Capisa

Grupo Capisa is a union of companies with a long tradition in the Canary Islands, belonging to the cereal and livestock sector, which joins forces through new synergies to be more competitive and promote the development of the primary sector. Its activities include: the import of cereals, the manufacture and commercialization of animal feed and raw materials, the manufacture and commercialization of bread-making flours, the bakery industry, and livestock production. Among the activities of the companies it comprises, the import and storage of raw materials (mainly cereals), as well as their processing and commercialization in the Islands, stand out. It also carries out significant livestock activity, with poultry, pig, goat, and cattle farms distributed across the islands of Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura. Many of the companies that make up Grupo Capisa have been developing quality and environmental policies for years. The companies have experience in process optimization and the application of quality policies, which are documented and periodically reviewed. Furthermore, Corporate Social Responsibility is a commitment internalized by the owner shareholders of Grupo Capisa, by its management team, and by all employees of the different integrated companies. It is a constant reference in internal communication and actions in this area are widely disseminated among the staff. Recently, Grupo Capisa has implemented its Human Resources Department in order to unify, optimize, and develop strategies related to people in a coordinated manner with all its companies, both from a strictly professional point of view, and from other policies aimed at promotion, internal and external training, and knowledge transfer.
