About Grupo Autonunes

The Group's history began with Severino Nunes (Sr. Biu), over 50 years ago, when he founded Caxangá Veículos. The Nunes family's tradition in the automotive sector continued to advance when Humberto Nunes (Sr. Beto) founded AutoNunes in 1993. The success of the Prazeres headquarters in Jaboatão earned numerous awards: JC Recall de Marcas, Marcas que Eu Gosto, from Diário de Pernambuco, and, in 1995, the first of several A classifications, an annual merit granted by GM to the best dealerships in Brazil. The Autonunes Chevrolet brand then consolidated itself as a synonym of credibility and quality in service. In the 2000s, the growth of the automotive market made an old dream of Sr. Beto possible: to expand Autonunes Chevrolet to other cities in the state of Pernambuco. Thus, in a short period of three years, the Recife (2005), Olinda (2007), and Cabo de Santo Agostinho (2008) units were established. In 2017, a new vehicle dealership was incorporated into the AutoNunes Group, this time from the Nissan manufacturer. Auto Oriente was founded when the Group took over the activities of the former Disnove Nissan, with stores in the northern zone of Recife and in Caruaru. Auto Oriente consecrates the legacy of the Autonunes Group in the automobile market, being under the direction of Humberto Nunes Filho. In 2019, AutoNunes took over the activities of the former Dafonte dealership, reaching the Pernambuco agreste region and increasing the number of branches with stores in Caruaru and Gravatá. Today, our stores have a complete structure for genuine parts, vehicle maintenance and repair services, new and used cars, making Grupo Autonunes a strong company, consolidated in the market and recognized for the quality of its team and service.
