Grupo Alacant is a leading company in the ice cream sector with over 50 years of experience. It was founded in 1972 by a group of 35 master ice cream makers who decided to join forces to create the best ice cream recipes together. Today, ownership is held by over 250 shareholders, all linked to the world of ice cream. A clear commitment to innovation, careful selection of raw materials, and continuous understanding of current consumers has allowed this company to position itself as a leader in the Spanish market, with annual revenues exceeding €170 million. Grupo Alacant has four factories with the most demanding quality, environmental, and business ethics certifications. The four plants are equipped with the most advanced technology and have the capacity to produce over 90 million liters per year. It offers a wide range of products from artisanal creams to cones, chocolates, sandwiches, sticks, and granitas for both mass consumption and specialist ice cream shops. Among its own brands are Helados Alacant, Antiu Xixona, 4U Free From, Somosierra, and Royne Special Line, which are distributed both in Spain and abroad. It currently has a workforce of over 700 employees, and undoubtedly, its greatest asset is its people.
