Specjał was established in 1990 on the initiative of the owner and current President of the Management Board, Krzysztof Tokarz. In 1993, we obtained the status of partner wholesalers for major food industry producers, which allowed us to expand our activities and prospects. In 1996, we launched the Specjał Security Agency, and in 1997, we won the tender for the purchase of the Cezal Medical Supply Company. In the medical industry, there are 2 pharmaceutical wholesalers that have been operating in the group since 1999 and 2004. We also have 10 medical stores in Podkarpacie and Silesia that process refunds for assistive devices and orthopedic equipment under agreements with the National Health Fund (NFZ). In 2000, we opened the "Nasz Sklep" franchise network. Another franchise network is the "Delikatesy Sezam" network and "Delikatesy Premium Nasz Sklep," which has been operating since 2010. In 2013, an agreement was concluded based on which the Polish Retail Chain "NASZ SKLEP S.A." acquired an organized part of the business of Rabat Service S.A. in liquidation bankruptcy, including, among others: the company LD Holding Spółka Akcyjna based in Jastrzębie Zdrój managing the eLDe and Livio franchise networks (currently operating under the name PSH Livio). Currently, the number of outlets grouped in the Specjał Group's franchise networks exceeds 9,217 stores. Since 2007, the group has begun a wave of acquisitions, which has also contributed to the dynamic development of the Specjał Group. In 2018, Nasz Sklep purchased a majority stake in the company Rabat Detal – this is a package of over 50 percent, as well as 100% of the shares in the ALIGATOR store chain. Since the beginning of 2019, the company has opened three new wholesale sales branches in Radom, Zielona Góra, Lublin, and Kalisz.
