Groupe SIMON

About Groupe SIMON

Since February 3rd, Groupe SIMON has been mourning the loss of its iconic founding president Michel SIMON. He created his first agency in 1974 in Morlaix, with his wife Yvonne SIMON, current president of Groupe SIMON. Michel and Yvonne SIMON were dedicated to applying Michel SIMON's insightful vision to meet the needs of their individual and professional clients (Boderiou, Bihannic, Goarnisson). A second agency was created in Brest in 1977, followed by Châteaulin in 1981 and Landivisiau in 1986. To support internal growth, Michel Simon understood the benefit of developing through the acquisition of external structures. This is how the companies St Denis Pneumatiques, Nantes Pneumatiques, and Comptoir et Atelier du Pneu (CAP) joined the group in the late 80s-early 90s. The growth of the Simon group took on a new dimension with the creation of the G6 network (predecessor of Profil+) in 1996. With five of his partners, Michel Simon realized the necessity of developing the network and his group to maintain independence from manufacturers. The network simultaneously moved towards diversification, and Michel Simon wanted to open the group to new activities with the creation of Chronopneus in 2005. Since then, the companies Challenge in 2009 and Vialatte in 2010 have joined us. On January 1, 2016, the Chouteau and Simon groups merged to form the French leader in independent wholesale from that date. Today, Groupe Simon has over 1400 employees spread across more than 85 PROFIL+ sales points, and other subsidiaries: ABR, ChronoSLPA Pneus, & PFP2. More than 85 sales points spread across the entire West facade, there is surely a job for you near you! Join us...
