The CAMCA Group, a specialty insurer of the Crédit Agricole Group, is composed of several subsidiary companies of a parent company, Caisse d’Assurances Mutuelles du Crédit Agricole (CAMCA), founded in 1946 and based in Paris. The members of our mutual insurance company are primarily the regional banks of Crédit Agricole. An insurance and reinsurance brokerage firm (CAMCA Courtage) is responsible for designing tailor-made insurance solutions for both the needs of entities and their corporate clients. The CAMCA Group has also been established in Luxembourg since 1992 through a reinsurance company (CAMCA Réassurance SA) and since 1997 through a non-life insurance company (CAMCA Assurance SA). The CAMCA Group primarily operates in B2B and B2B2C, first and foremost for the entities of the Crédit Agricole Group present in the EU and for their clients. Over time, the Group has structured itself around 4 areas of excellence: (1) operational risks in banking, insurance, and real estate, (2) payment method insurance, bank account insurance, and affinity insurance, (3) financial guarantees and in particular mortgage loan guarantees, and finally (4) insurance engineering. The CAMCA Group is number 1 in France for payment method insurance and number 3 in the mortgage loan guarantee market. Our DNA is based on innovation, utility, and the structuring of coverage for emerging risks. A small company of just under 100 people that invests in the expertise of its men and women, driven by a strong culture of development.
