Our company history: The success story of the Grossauer Unternehmensgruppe began in the 1980s with Franz Grossauer and a single mission: to give guests enjoyable experiences. What started in Grossauer's life with all sorts of confectionery has developed into a major company that now operates at an international level. With the support of his children - who have found their own love for gastronomy - the Styrian family business has established itself as one of the largest restaurateurs, self-service providers, and event organizers in Austria. Over the years, they have also gained a foothold in the gastronomy scene and taken their place. With two beer houses, five steak restaurants, two fish restaurants, a market stall, a guesthouse, and a diverse gastronomy business with a restaurant, bar, beer garden, and event department on the Schlossberg/Graz, the profession has become a calling for the family, which they live to the fullest in all its facets. Today - some years, 20 independent restaurants, countless events, and numerous awards later - the family can look proudly at the company and state with a smile on their faces that the dream Franz Grossauer once had has become a reality.
