About Grendene

We are one of the largest footwear manufacturers in the world. Our first manufacturing facility was founded in the municipality of Farroupilha (RS) in 1971. We currently have three more units in Ceará, in the municipalities of Fortaleza, Sobral and Crato, and one unit in Bahia, in Teixeira de Freitas; in addition to three Melissa Galleries (concept stores) located in São Paulo, New York and London. With over 20,000 employees, we own brands such as Melissa, Rider, Grendha, Ipanema, Zaxy, Cartago, and Grendene Kids, as well as a line of licenses that includes celebrities and children's and youth characters. We produce footwear for the domestic and international markets, serving the female, male, and child audiences. Exports cover more than 100 countries, spanning all continents. The construction of our history includes the participation of countless people who, in common, share the belief in the same values.
