Greenwood Heating and Home Services was founded in 1918 as a furnace company by Walter Zainey in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. The company has undergone many changes since then, including multiple locations, different ownership, and expanded services. However, our commitment to providing the best possible solutions for our customers' home needs has remained consistent. In 2004, Michael Porter, a Seattle native, purchased the company. Since then, our team has grown to over 170 employees, each with unique strengths and knowledge. Our goal is to become the most Trusted and Respected Home Service company in Washington by focusing on hiring the best team, fostering a culture of growth, opportunity, and support, and working collaboratively with our customers. Our operations now extend to multiple locations, including state-of-the-art facilities in Everett and Tukwila, which offer convenient commutes for our north and south teams. Both facilities feature large warehouses stocked with necessary supplies and modern office spaces for our support teams. Our services have evolved significantly from our origins as a furnace company.
