Founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1870, Granado Pharmácias is the most traditional pharmacy in Brazil. Compounding extracts from plants and herbs grown on the estate of its founder, Portuguese José Antonio Coxito Granado, Granado soon won over illustrious clients like D. Pedro II. Delighted with the quality and effectiveness of the products, the emperor awarded the pharmacy the title of Official Pharmacy of the Brazilian Imperial Family. This deep knowledge of the properties of medicinal plant extracts and oils is, to this day, the basis for the development of new products. With over 100 concept stores and distribution in select points of sale, Granado is present in the home and memory of every Brazilian. Abroad, the brand has three concept stores in Paris (6th, Marais, and 1st arrondissements), and an online store serving all of Europe. No product is tested on animals.
