Welcome to Glostrup! Glostrup Municipality is in many ways a small suburban oasis that has evolved over time from a thriving local community into a modern, dynamic municipality. Glostrup Municipality is a medium-sized municipality with approximately 22,000 citizens and about 2,000 employees throughout the organization. Our municipal tasks range from working directly with children, young people, adults, and the elderly at the municipality's institutions, maintaining and developing the urban space, to employees working with development and administration. In Glostrup Municipality, we work based on two common cross-cutting core tasks: mastery and self-realization. This means that everything we do as a municipality must contribute to supporting the municipality's citizens in having the best conditions to master their lives and realize themselves. The two core tasks should enable us to better prioritize, develop, and assess the quality of our work so that what we do provides the most meaning and value for the municipality's citizens.
