Ganztagsbetreuung im Pakt (GiP) gGmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Offenbach district. The district council decided to establish it in the summer of 2015 with the aim of relieving volunteers in school support associations from the administration of funds and the hiring of personnel. The non-profit company offers two services: the administration of state funds for all-day schools, and the sponsorship of care services at schools in the district.As the sponsor of care facilities, the company is the employer for all employees working in the "care" sector, ensures the financing of the service together with the state, district, and responsible municipality, and is responsible for the entire care service on-site, including the lunch service. In the current school year, the company manages state funds for 44 schools in the "all-day" sector and holds sponsorship for 16 care services at primary schools in the district.
