About Gills Point S Tire & Auto

Eric Gill joined the Point S network of owners in 2000 when he started Gills Point S with the first two service centers in The Dalles, OR, and Hood River, OR areas. From those small town roots in Oregon, Gills Point S Tire & Auto Service has grown into one of the largest independent tire retailers in the United States. But don't let our size fool you. Our mission is simple: to provide our customers with the most convenient, stress-free tire and auto care experience possible. This isn’t just about fixing cars or selling tires—it’s about being a trusted partner in keeping our neighbors safe on the road. Whether it’s helping a family get ready for a long road trip or supporting a local business with their fleet, we take pride in making a difference close to home.
