What does the GGD do? Everyone has heard of the GGD. But what does the GGD actually do? Some think of the school doctor or vaccinations for a distant holiday. Others think of an anonymous STD test or information at school. That's all correct, but the GGD does much more. The GGD, for you too! The GGD monitors, protects, and promotes everyone's health, with special attention to risk groups. We do this by preventing health risks and promoting the health of all residents. Yours too! What does the GGD do? We conduct health examinations, provide vaccinations, and give information about living healthily. We advise municipalities on their health policy and partly implement it. We work closely with 'regular' care, such as general practitioners and hospitals. GGD Mission The GGD monitors, protects, and promotes everyone's health, with special attention to risk groups.
