Gemeinsam leben Frankfurt e.V. is a non-profit association founded by dedicated parents and educators. We are committed to implementing the rights of people with disabilities in all areas of life, as described in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Our goal: To advance and realize inclusion, the equal treatment of people with disabilities, in Frankfurt. The focus is on children, adolescents, and young adults. We work and advise independently. We want inclusion to not just exist on paper, but in reality! The motto of Gemeinsam leben Frankfurt e.V. is: We create inclusion. With innovative projects, we specifically close "inclusive" gaps in Frankfurt in the areas of daycare, kindergarten, school, leisure, and work, so that people with disabilities are naturally included everywhere. We are currently the sponsor of three inclusion projects in Frankfurt. Our projects are usually pilot projects. They lay the foundation for change and show what is possible for inclusion. It is important to us to create directly implementable solutions for practice. We work in a broadly networked and cooperative manner, because we achieve more together. In addition, we are committed to breaking down barriers in society and politics and positively changing attitudes. For a life together in appreciation and diversity.
