Ouder-Amstel is an attractive residential and working municipality with over 13,000 inhabitants and 12,000 jobs. We are part of the Amsterdam metropolitan area and consist of three centers: Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, Duivendrecht, and Waver. Strategically located next to Amsterdam, we are a municipality with contrasts: the metropolitan bustle of Werkstad OverAmstel versus the peace and space of the medieval Rondehoep polder. We are ambitious and with new, green city districts, we want to double our population in the coming years. Our character?
