Gemeente Barneveld

About Gemeente Barneveld

Barneveld has over 60,000 inhabitants and expects to grow to a municipality of 85,000 inhabitants by 2040. As a medium-sized municipality, we have the right size for attractive and ambitious projects in which we operate effectively and flexibly. The municipality of Barneveld carries out many tasks itself, so there is plenty of diversity. We like dynamics, smart innovative solutions, and quick transitions, and we like to do things simply and well (lean!). The municipality of Barneveld works demand-driven. We listen to our customers and a promise is a promise for us. Our focus is outward, and we work together a lot in networks. The municipality of Barneveld seeks talents who can act proactively, innovatively, and out-of-the-box. We don't like hierarchical structures, we get along easily with each other, and we work in an open culture focused on achieving results.
