Fruit experts with fresh ingredients As fruit experts with passion, we have been producing industrial products for over half a century for further processing in the ice cream, dairy, chocolate, baking, and beverage industries, as well as finished products as a private label specialist for juices, smoothies, and fresh fruit and vegetable salads. History. As a third-generation family business, our thinking and actions are determined by continuity, independence, and sustainable growth. Founded in 1956 by Kurt Bagusat at Possenhofen Castle on Lake Starnberg with the production of fruits in alcohol for the chocolate industry. 1982 Expansion of production to include fruit purees, concentrates, and preparations for the European ice cream, dairy, confectionery, baking, and beverage industries, and takeover of management by Michael Bagusat. 1986 Opening of the new production site in Geretsried near Munich. 2002 Start of the third generation with Alexander Bagusat through the founding of the first finished product production for fresh fruit and vegetable salads. 2007 saw the commissioning of the first aseptic PET filling. With the unabated trend towards healthy snacking, Bagusat uses its industrial know-how and is rapidly developing into a specialist for chilled direct fruit juices, smoothies, and fresh fruit and vegetable salads. 2017 our technological leadership was supplemented as the first German fruit juice manufacturer with HPP (High Pressure Pasteurisation).
