Founded in 1874 in Switzerland, Geberit arrived in France in 1929 with the opening of a sales depot in Paris. This was the company's first foreign establishment. The commercial company was established in 1959. In 2015, Geberit integrated production, logistics, and supply chain activities in France through the acquisition of Allia, from the sanitary ceramics group Sanitec. Since 2020, the entire product portfolio has been marketed under the single brand "Geberit". Today, Geberit France employs over 330 employees across 3 companies: Geberit S.A.R.L. is the Group's commercial company in France and includes the sales force as well as support functions serving the company's commercial strategy based in Samoreau, namely the Marketing Department, Customer Service, the Administrative and Financial Department, and the Human Resources Department. It relies on its Show-Room in Paris to provide optimized advice to our clients. Geberit Services S.A.S. groups our logistics, supply chain, and toilet pack assembly activities in France based at the Selles-sur-Cher and Digoin sites. Geberit Production S.A.S. refers to our ceramic factory located in Limoges, specializing in the manufacture of sanitary ceramic stoneware products. With an area of 20,000m², it produces 110,000 ceramic pieces per year, mainly kitchen sinks and collective washbasins.
