Founded over 50 years ago, GBH has expanded from its overseas departments, then internationally. GBH's growth was built first on industrial activities: agri-food, construction materials, tire retreading, then around two businesses: automotive distribution and mass retail. GBH operates in the West Indies, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, the Dominican Republic, Morocco, Algeria, Ghana, China, Reunion Island, and New Caledonia; its main franchisors are Carrefour, Renault, Mr Bricolage, Decathlon, Michelin, Danone.
