About Gadus

Gadus is a Belgian fish processing company, founded in March 1991. Since its inception, the company has focused on service, quality and flexibility for the retail market. The company has a distribution channel that extends throughout Belgium. In July 2017, Gadus was acquired by Steinasalir, a group of Icelandic fishing companies, fish producers, private equity funds and private investors. Being in the hands of one of the main suppliers holding a significant share of Iceland's cod quota has contributed to Gadus' growth. This naturally translates into a qualitative and permanent supply for our customers. The rapid growth of the consumer market requires close cooperation between all parties. Thanks to our close ties with our customers, our understanding of their needs and desires, and our decades of experience, we can more easily meet their needs and support the marketing of high-quality fish products.
