About FUNDACION PRODE

For over 35 years, a group made up of some of our family members began seeking help to normalize our lives, as until that moment we had remained ignored and stigmatized by society. Fundación PRODE is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 with the challenge of generating quality of life, well-being, and happiness for every person with an intellectual disability and their families. All of us who make up Fundación PRODE, users, families, workers, volunteers, etc., fight side by side to continue advancing towards real equality of rights for everyone, without exclusion. Our main objective is to achieve the greatest possible degree of social inclusion, and for every person with a disability and/or in a situation of dependency to have the necessary opportunities and resources to be happy. For us, people are the only and most important thing. They are the core that gives life to our reason for being, and we do not want anyone to be left behind. We fight with ethical commitment to safeguard our dignity within a just and supportive society.
