Froneri. A dynamic joint venture for ice cream and frozen food. Froneri was founded in October 2016 – a joint venture in the field of ice cream, frozen food and chilled dairy products. In Germany, the companies Nestlé Schöller, R&R Ice Cream and Erlenbacher were combined under the umbrella of the Froneri Group. Froneri builds on the success of strong brands and experience in out-of-home distribution from Nestlé, as well as the competitive production model and significant retail presence in both branded and private label segments from R&R Ice Cream. As the world's third-largest ice cream manufacturer, Froneri is now active in over 20 countries and employs around 10,000 people. The company is headquartered in the United Kingdom with further locations mainly in Europe, the Middle East (excluding Israel), Argentina, Brazil, the Philippines, South Africa and Australia. Froneri is the No. 1 ice cream manufacturer in private label in Europe. In Germany, Froneri has expert teams at four different locations: Froneri Schöller in Nuremberg and Uelzen, Froneri Ice Cream in Osnabrück and Erlenbacher in Groß-Gerau.
