Our story begins in 1950, when Miquel Ramió Serra began his career as a cattle dealer. A few years later, he saw the opportunity to build a cutting room in the municipality of Sant Jordi Desvalls and incorporated his son Miquel Ramió Costa into the company. With this step, Mr. Ramió Serra laid the foundations for what would later become FRISELVA. The activity grew, and it was necessary to move the cutting room to Riudellots de la Selva, where the slaughterhouse could be integrated with the cutting room. As a result of this integration and its new facilities, the current FRISELVA was born. Over the past decades, we have grown in both figures and facilities. Maintaining the family tradition, we work to offer the best quality and service to our clients. We are committed to continuous improvement and focus our efforts on total vertical integration, aligning our strategy with the European “from farm to fork” directive. The effort and commitment of the entire company team have earned FRISELVA recognition in the pork sector.
