The company can trace its origins back to 1900 in Vierzon, where Charles Février initially manufactured metal shutters. Over the years, France Fermetures has remained on the banks of the Cher River. However, it also expanded to other parts of France, collaborating with the SFPI group to preserve its national expertise in producing swing shutters, roller shutters, and garage doors. Under the leadership of Robert Février, the company has grown considerably. The Capdenac site joined in 1977, followed by Boussac in 1979. The former produces wooden shutters and garage doors, while the latter produces roller shutters, swing shutters, curtains and grilles. It is a 100% French company that now employs around 400 people in the Creuse, Aveyron and Cher departments. It produces Made in France specialities and has a trans-regional development strategy in France. Its shutters and garage doors are produced in accordance with sustainable development principles. France Fermetures is all this and more. And it has been for over 120 years.
