About Fondation Les Nids

The Fondation Les Nids, recognized as a public utility since 1960, became a Recognized Public Utility Foundation – FRUP – by decree on March 15, 2019. Through this act, it intends to continue and perpetuate the work of Madeleine Lecoeur, who founded the association in 1931. A historical player in Normandy, Fondation Les Nids carries out missions for children in difficulty in 22 cities in the region. Its role is to provide children and adolescents it supports with protection, assistance, education, and understanding to give them every chance to build a future. As an employer in social action, the Foundation's dynamism relies essentially on the women and men who comprise it. Today, nearly 900 committed employees unite their skills in the service of youth and their families, representing over 20 roles in the socio-educational, medical and paramedical fields, as well as administration and management.
