Fnac is the leading distributor in Europe of technological and cultural products, and represents a unique alliance between commerce, culture, and technology. Literature, music, cinema, video games, image, sound, new technologies, and products for the kitchen, home, and personal care converge in a place for shopping, advice, discovery, and meeting. Fnac was born in 1954 in France and in 2016 joined the Darty chain to form the Fnac Darty Group. In 2019 the group incorporated the sustainable products brand Nature&Découvertes. With a turnover of 7,349 million euros, it has a network of 880 establishments spread across France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Morocco, Qatar, Ivory Coast, Congo, Cameroon, and Tunisia. Fnac arrived in Spain 27 years ago, opening its first store in Madrid's Preciados street in December 1993 and becoming from the outset an essential benchmark for both programming and cultural and technological consumption in Spain. Fnac Spain has 39 physical stores plus the virtual one, www.fnac.es. It is present in Madrid (9), Barcelona (6), Zaragoza (2), Valencia (3), A Coruña, Alicante, Asturias, Bilbao (2), Málaga, Marbella, Murcia, San Sebastián, Sevilla, Valladolid, Pamplona (2), Girona, Granada, Palma de Mallorca, and Castellón. It also has two stores in the Principality of Andorra.
