In 1948 Floyd Gillam started a small truck and farm machinery repair shop in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He established a reputation for timely, quality work, at a fair price. Over 65 years later and in the 4th generation of ownership, that fine standard of excellence continues to this day. Floyd's Truck Center has locations in Scottsbluff, NE, Sidney, NE, and Cheyenne, WY. These stores help to service the trucking needs in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming. In January of 2013 we expanded our operation through the acquisition of Eddie's Truck Center which is located in Rapid City, SD and Ft. Pierre, SD. These locations serve central and western South Dakota. We feature a full service body shop in Scottsbluff, NE and Rapid City, SD. We have since then added three additional locations in Wyoming: Rock Springs, Casper & Gillette. And in 2025 purchased Nebraska Truck Center adding Hastings, Grand Island and North Platte, Nebraska. At all twelve locations you will find service departments with factory trained technicians and the latest technology for complete diagnostics and repair of todays equipment. Our parts departments are fully stocked and a helpful knowledgeable staff is on hand to take care of your every need. We understand the trucking industry and the needs of each individual driver. Whether buying a new or used truck or trailer, or repairing your existing equipment, our staff is equipped to accommodate you.
