About Flinn Scientific

Flinn Scientific, based in Batavia, Illinois, has spent nearly 50 years helping teachers turn “wait, what?” into “ohhh, I get it.” We exist to help educators ignite wonder through hands-on discovery - because students don’t just learn science, they experience it. From our roots in lab chemicals to a full ecosystem of STEM, safety, and instructional solutions, we’ve grown alongside the real needs of real classrooms. We understand what teachers are up against: limited time, tight budgets, and a room full of students who need something to click. That’s where we come in - transforming complexity into clear, actionable solutions that make ambitious teaching possible. And because nothing great happens without trust, safety is built into everything we do - so educators can push boundaries with confidence. We’re more than a supplier - we’re a partner in sparking curiosity and fueling discovery. Join us and help create more of those “lightbulb” moments.
