First Tee

About First Tee

First Tee enables young people to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that they carry through everything they do. Beginning in 1997 as a partnership among the LPGA, the Masters Tournament, the PGA of America, the PGA TOUR, and the USGA, First Tee is committed to furthering our positive momentum and building educational programs that are safe, welcoming, and as impactful as they are fun. Together with our chapters, school and community partners, we are strengthening our resolve to be agents of change for young people of all backgrounds as they navigate life’s challenges.
