Firda

About Firda

Firda offers a wide range of vocational training for over 20,000 young people and adults. You can find us in Drachten, Dokkum, Emmeloord, Heerenveen, Leeuwarden, Sneek, and on Urk. Previously, we were known as Friesland College and ROC Friese Poort. Firda employs over 2400 skilled staff members. We stand for connection, are involved, and work based on trust. By being open to different insights, students and employees become agile and challenge each other to constantly seek new perspectives. Because those who keep learning keep developing. People learn not only at school but continuously and everywhere: sometimes with each other, sometimes from each other, from people close to you or in the world around you. At Firda, we don't just train you, we ensure you can always continue learning. Learn yourself for life!
